Echium Tea
It does not grow anywhere on the land except in the foothills of the Alborz Mountains and is not related to any other plant that grows in Azerbaijan and other cities in Iran or other countries. It mistakenly be known as Echium. Echium is an Iranian type and Borage is a European plant. The Iranian type be found in blue, purple and white. The flowers of “echium” are larger than the flowers of “borage”.

One of the most popular ways to use it, is as herbal tea to prepare it, all you have to do is boil the dried flowers of this plant in water for 10 minutes. This tea is one of the best winter drinks. The temperament of borage is warm.
The appropriate and standard amount of echium for adults is 5 grams of dried flower in a volume of about 250 cc of boiling water, which is consumed with a little lemon or fresh lemon juice and a little honey or candy.
